  • Bye Bye xanga.

Yes. I am changing my blogger domain real soon. Reason?

Xanga doesnt allow customised blogskins. If you noticed, I did not even change my xanga skin despite complaining umpteen times about how ugly it is. And so what do they do if you want a customised blogskin?

    They charge you.

Damn it. Xanga is damn freaking commercialised.

    And another thing is,

after I changed internet provider, i seem to have no problem assessing blogger. But i have tons of problems trying to log in to xanga.

So I am changing back to my old blog address. Yes. The -wykie.blogspot.com.

O well, xanga does have its advantages. Like:

It acts as a photo server too. Every photo that you upload will automatically be in an online server. So you wont lose you photos forever.

And xanga helps you track who viewed your blog and through where. But o well. I can have that easily done on blogger too.

So long xanga! You stink. I shall never come back again.

p/s: I am just kidding about the reader of waikit part, just in case you think that I am becoming cocky.

p/p/s: My apologises for changing blogging domain again. Change the links on your blogs please! Thanks alot!

  • 2 more down, 3 to go.

I typed a blog entry yesterday but i made it private so that you guys wont read it. Dont get me wrong. It's not as I blogged about something big scandal or whatsoever. I was just blogging about how I felt about maths and since I dont find it really appealing and interesting, so I thus made that entry private.

So, on a brighter note, the exams is ending soon. Like real soon. But i havent really start making concrete plans for my 1 month holiday. So far, on my list:

    1) Going out with Claire and Rebecca.

    2) Going out with Bimbo Gang.

    3) Council Stayover atClaire's house

    4) Going out with the clique minus qiling to buy peifen's ds

    5) Visit Caelan, probably with xiangting or something.

    K. I realise the go-out list will never end. As for the must-do:

    1) Suntan. It's a must.

    2) Gym gym gym. Need to lose all the fats that I gained during the exams.

    3) Pack up my room. May that 2 rooms since I am now using 2 rooms to study.

    4) Teach Henry his basic maths well before I go into army.

    5) Shop for prom. Exciting.

    6) Study for the SAT.

I feel guilty for planning my post-exam activities when I still have 3 major papers. But I do need something to brighten my day with.

And I was planning my career yesterday with the possible grades I can get.

Which I conclude, it's either law ( NUS OR SMU ), business ( NTU OR SMU ) or economics ( SMU ). If I really didnt do well, I will just probably going to retake A's cause I dont really wish to get into a course which I dont like. After all, it's my future and one really shouldnt compromise with his/her choices just cause she/he flunked the examination once.

For example, I have this friend who was from RJ. Didnt do well for A's. Cant get into any courses in any university. In the end, he went to polytechnic, took business and is doing very well now.

And obviously, he can get into any course ( almost ) he wants as he has an impressive portfolio by now. Not to mention that scholarships are coming his way.

You may argue that one shouldnt waste time and should just compromise with the lousy grades you get since u deserve them. But seriously, for a guy, a career is very important and sad to say that in this realistic society, no matter how much emphasis is said that the grades arent important but the experience and character is, eventually, employers still look at your grades and your degree.

Experience and character are just catalysts to your future career prospects. But your degree is essential for you to start embarking on your career. I mean, if I compromise myself and get into a course I dont like, let's say chinese studies or something, I will first be sulky about it since I dont like the course. And I will feel loss at the end of the day cause I dont know where will this course bring me to.

Hey. I have no discrimination against chinese studies. It's just that I do not see myself in it. And i do love chinese ( yes, i am proud to admit that. And it's stupid to say u hate chinese especially when u r a chinese. It just irks me ). Furthermore, if I discriminate chinese, I wont be taking it during A's now.

    K. Shall end here. See you guys next week.

  • 5 down, 5 more to go.

You know what's the most irritating thing after an examination?

That you hear people start boasting how well they will do for the papers.

It's okay to discuss about the answers after the papers. It's okay to say that you find the paper relatively easy. But you dont have to say things like:

" OMG. The paper is so damn freaking easy. I can do every question."

Hello dude. Contain your excitement in your heart. You dont have to tell the world you can do the paper.

Espeically after maths today. It's damn fucking irritating to hear people saying this kind of insensitive comments.

And how sure are you that you can get every single question correct. Even my friend from RJ, who got a straight record of As for maths ever since year 1 jct ( june common test or block test, whatever your school calls it ) doesnt dare to make such a boastful statement.

Not to mention my another friend who is the valedictorian in mathematics in his school.

Note. It doesnt mean that they cant do the questions. It's just that they got a sense of humuility. And yes. Those people dont.

Make sure you get an A for maths then. If you dont, perhaps u can just jump down from any building. Well, no one asked you to make such a sweeping statement. You caused the embarrassment yourself.

    O. And very likely, these people who are very confident dont get As in the end. Cause they tend to overlook their mistakes and blah! The whole question is wrong.

So my best advice is, no matter how easy u find the paper, just keep your comments to yourself. Cause

    1) For sure,There are people around who cant do the paper.

and 2) To save yourself from any future embarrasments.

If anyone dares to say this kind of stupid comments after maths/chem, I will make sure I will laugh in front of them if they dont get their As eventually.

And i aint being sour grapes. Just in case you are having such a thought.

So, this week has been torturous. And i still havent do much for chem paper 3 which is on monday. Damn it.

And obviously, I need to practice alot more for my stats so that I can pull up my risky maths score.

But I find all the papers okay. Easier than prelims for sure. But shant think about it. I still have other subjects to worry for.

    K. That's all for this week. The next time I  come back should be on wednesday or something. After my maths paper 2.

p/s: I aint targeting at anyone. I am just stating a general statement.

p/p/s: PLEASE DONT DONT DONT MSG ME AFTER A PAPER AND ASK ME HOW WAS IT. I know some of you out there are concerned and seriously, i do appreciate it. But i just dont like it. Cause i will feel stressed. For example,

If i think i did well, then cause of these messages, I will start to be paranoid and think of possible mistakes that i made, which will lead to misery and unneccessary worries.

If I think i did not do well. Eh. I guess it's pretty obvious how you will feel if you are in my shoes.

So guys. I really appreciate your concerns. Thanks. If I am sad or anything, I will definitely tell someone. I am not a person that keep my emotions to myself. Not in this case, i mean.

14 more days. Before I regain my short-term freedom.

For like 1 minute or. I shall aim to finish this entry in a minute.

I know i aint supposed to come back at this moment but I know you guys miss me.

Dont deny your feelings! It's okay to be true to yourself occasionally!

Stop rolling your eyes. Come on, you know that you miss me.

Okay. Enough of my narcissm. And anyway, i have cut my hair. It's terrible and I will say it's definitely a preview of how i look like when i go for basic military training ( BMT )
